When my mum cooks lap cheong (pork sausage), yuan cheong (liver sausage with traces of Chinese wine) and Foshan's string tied pig trotter for dinner-it signal that Chinese New Year is around the corner !
The Foshan's string tied pig trotter skin was jelly-like and the meat was fragrant with hint of 5 spice powder/salt-A must for every Chinese household on reunion dinner. |
Yes, I didn't realise how near it is. The Foshan pork trotter is very unusual, where to get this? I've never seen any in the shops.
