So leave it to the experts !
I think these are seasonal wild mushrooms which crops up after a bout of rain on a hot sunny day and harvested early next morning by the Orang Asli.
Known in Chinese as Kai Yok Ku (Chicken meat mushroom) sold for Rm5/kg.
Before cooking it-must remove the thin layer of skin.
Wash it-slice diagonally and sauteed in oil, ginger and garlic with a sprinkling of salt.
It has a mild flavor, sweet taste and chicken meat like textures.
