Eight Ounce Coffee Co @Suria KLCC.

When we go to Suria KLCC, it is more of window shopping than for shopping.

It is a vibrant place, full of  human vibes and energy.

Take  a  walk in the park, let's the kids frolic in the water pool.

See the latest branded Designer's clothes, equipment, watches and whatever
that your catches your eyes.

Times passes by fast.

After two hours of browsing and buying, it was time to rest our weary legs
- to relax and have a cup of tea and coffee at Eight Ounce Coffee Co.

A small open stand alone place in a corner near the elevator at Level 2. where
business was brisk.

We had tea and coffee only but will definitely try their gourmet cakes which
look enticing the next time.

Kam Kee Seafood Restaurant.

For lunch,  I usually like to eat something simple and not too full.

Today choice is noodles and  prawn fritters.

Kam Kee Seafood Restaurant location is ideal-  no need to pay parking
fees and ample  parking spaces.

It is a nice and simple place where we come for our yearly Yee Sang,
which is available next month.

We had 1: Fried Hokkien bee hoon with thick yellow noodle topped with lots
                 of deep fried lard.

2:Jiang Nan mee or kong nam mee.

3:Deep fried lightly batter prawn fritters.

And a pot of hot Chinese Pu er tea to wash off the oils and fats.

Nasi Lemak Bumbung.

Dining  in the open air in a back lane in between two rows of shop houses
on a hot, humid evening is quite an experience.

People from all walk of life eat here, simple street food to fill up their tummies.

The all time favorite is Nasi Lemak - fragrant coconut milk flavored
grainy steamed rice served on a banana leaf with peanut,  watered down
sambal chillies onion, poached egg, cucumber and Indian spices and
herbs flavored fried chicken.

Pretty fast service and affordable.

Curry Laksa -Restoran Coca Seafood.

A curry laksa stall that is a hype in an obscured part of Selayang town.

Just imagine, people going there as early as 6 am to put their orders and  queue
numbers on an exercise book.

A waiting time of two hours is very common but mine was 45minutes.

There are two or three other stalls selling noodles, too.

But the main draw is the full set curry laksa - served in a hot, spicy, creamy
and fragrant curry broth filled with curry chicken, meat balls, cockles, lots of
beansprouts, foo pei, char siew, roast pork, fried wanton, long bean and tofu puffs.

A full filling meal - where is it like -once is enough !

A normal bowl of   curry laksa.

Wanton Mee -Restoran Kam Heong.

For breakfast, besides Nasi Lemak , Wanton Mee is  another good and popular choice.

Among friends and relatives, eight out of ten like wanton mee.

Quick and easy to order - easily available in most coffee shops.

Usually served either dry or with soup, BBQ pork, pork/prawn wanton,
poached chicken, braised  chicken feet with mushroom .....etc and pickled green chillies.

This wanton mee stall is an icon located in Restoran Kam Heong, opposite of
Menara MBPJ.

The kon loh mee is al dente and served with lean but well marinated BBQ pork, choy sam,
three pieces of pork wanton and pickled green chillies.

Batu 8, Kapar Sea-foods.

I have been yearning for fresh seafood for weeks.

Going somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Something to perk up my appetite and affordable.

This restaurant seems like deja vu, many years ago.

Located parallel to Jalan Kapar , turn left at 7 3/4 km beside a small
mosque and then right -restaurant is on your left.

The choices of food for the two of us was limited.
We ordered  steamed  flower crab, oyster omelette and a fried glass noodle
and fresh coconut.

A satisfying lunch meal on a week day.
