Restoran Xfrens.
Restoran Xfrens is one of the few good Chinese restaurants
around Subang Jaya.
In the evening, whenever we passed this place via the flyover,
it's always full of people. Is it a sign of good food ?
Curiosity, took us here on a Sunday evening, even after peak hours
the place is still streaming with diners.
On securing a table, a waitress was on standby (super efficient)
to take our order.
A pot of Pu er tea was ordered first while we considered the waitress
food recommendations, there was so much choices to choose.
we finally settled for three dishes.
A savory, sourish Assam curry Grouper fish (very fresh) with assorted vegetables.
Next a rack of pork ribs with a tangy brown sauce - well marinated,
tender and meaty.
And in house made savory tofu doused with a thick creamy pumpkin sauce
and curry leaves.
Service is quick, prices a bit expensive but they used good quality ingredients.
Be prepared to seated along corridor and five foot way as the restaurant
has limited seating.
Location: 51, Jalan SS18/1B,
SS 18, 47500, Subang Jaya.

Restoran Choon Sun.
Monday night dinner with family.
Partly open air not a place for those who likes to frequent air-cond restaurant.
Flanked on both sides with car accessories and car repairs shops.
A bit dirty with the occasional popping sound of gas from the gas cylinder of the air compressor, next door !
As the sun goes down-the mozzies are out in full force.
Parking is bearable.
Total bill:Rm98/
