Heart will go on-Sushi Zanmai

Today we had our lunch at Sushi Zanmai in The Garden, Mid Valley Mega Mall.
This cute little dish by the name of "Heart will go on" is on their CNY promotion menu.
Couples will love it as the name of the dish is very meaningful for Valentine's day which happen to fall on the same day as the CNY.

At only Rm18.80, it was indeed a refreshing and healthy dish.

A thin slice of cucumber embraced a piece of fresh pink Salmon, topped with crabmeat and red fish roe-altogether there were six pieces surrounded by thinly sliced lemon, sprigs of parsley and seated on a bed full of shredded carrot-heavenly !.

B & Best Restaurant.

B & Best Restaurant served one of the best clear broth soup noodle and "killer" sambal chillies that i have ever tasted.

I would rate them to be on par with Ah Koong Restaurant.

The soup is clear and tasty, very unlike those that my wife made which is milky but just as tasty.

The various types of fresh seafood which you can select to add to the plain clear broth noodle are heavy on the purse but it was worth every cents of it !

Flat noodle with springy house made fish balls, seaweed , leafy Tong Ho (Garland chrysanthemum) and added fresh, creamy oyster-Rm9.

Flat noodle with springy house made fish ball, sliced fish cake and deep fried bean curd sheet and leafy Tong Ho (Garland chrysanthemum)-Rm6.80/

Loh Si Fun (short round rice noodle) with springy house made fish ball, sliced fresh red snapper, leafy Tong Ho (Garland chrysanthemum)-Rm20/

Deep fried fish cake-crisp skin- tender and springy inside-Rm8/

Total bill:Rm61/

Lammeeya-1 Utama.

Lammeeya is located in 1 Utama Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya.

The white decor with photos of their signature dishes on one side of the wall gives the place a clean and refreshing look.

Besides their signature dish of Lam Mee, there are others favorite local snacks and noodles.

I, particularly like their thick Soy milk drink which is smooth and fragrant.

Overall the noodles served here are average and nothing to shout about.

Prawn Mee set- thin yellow noodle, crunchy beansprout, leafy kangkong (water convolvulus), firm fish paste and four juicy prawns-broth was average-Rm13.80/

Original Lam Mee-thick round yellow noodle, firm fish paste, shredded chicken meat, juicy prawn and blanched Chinese long cabbage-the tasty broth was not too sticky-Rm7.50/

Nyonya Curry Mee set-thin yellow noodle, crunchy beansprout, juicy prawn and topped with a dollop of Sambal chillies, a slice of lemon and sprigs of mint leaves-the curry broth was a bit diluted but spicy-Rm17/.

Side dish of set meal-Deep fried foo chuk (fish paste stuffed bean curd sheet)-crispy!.

Side dish for set meal-deep fried dumpling-crispy with a golden brown crust.
