Sek Yuen Restoran 2.

This is another great meal that we had at Sek Yuen located at Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur.

Sek Yuen is real old school and is a great place to savor dishes that are considered extinct in other restaurants.

We opt for the air conditioned dining room because of the hot weather but for those who want a bit of nostalgia the non air conditioned area is great!

Metered parking is OK behind the restaurant.

The payment counter is so antique.

Pork rolls-crispy and meaty but a bit heavy on the porky smell.

Pei Pa Ngap (Crispy Skin Duck)-tasted just like roast duck but much drier, meaty with a distinct aromatic flavor.

Fried noodles-rice vermicelli/flat rice noodle with assorted meat/seafood-the cornstarch reduction tasty chicken/bone stocked gravy was a good combination with both noodles-soaking them up so well !

Stir fried Choy Sam-leafy, crunchy and fat stems.

Total bill:Rm55.80/
Location:313-1, Jalan Pudu,
Kuala Lumpur,
Tel:03-9222-9457/0903.

their famous dish is the 8 Treasure Duck but this has to be pre-ordered at least one day in advance!
