Restoran Hai Thian.

One of my staff raves about the tasteful food dished out by Restoran Hai Thian, a 10 shoplots restaurant in Bandar Putra Permai.

Restoran Hai Thian was formerly located in Seri Kembangan just in front of Pasaraya Grand Union.

Yesterday, we went there for dinner and the exterior of the longish 10 shoplots restaurant was a sight to behold.
The interior was tasteful decorated and service was attentive and efficient.

As for the food I feel that their chefs are a bit highhanded on the salt content of most of their dishes.

Parking is OK.

Main entrance of this 10 shoplots restaurant.

A 360' photo of the 12 of us.

Salted egg Prawn-the big sized sea prawns were juicy and succulent with the salted egg lending a gorgeous flavor to it.

Deep fried Tilapia fish-crispy on the outside with fresh and tender flesh and the soy sauce was of good grade.

Tofu braised with peanuts-smooth and silky deep fried Tofu with the well braised generously sized peanut was perfect.

Garlic pork ribs-well marinated, meaty and the chopped garlic complemented it.

Baby French bean stir fried with Mui choy-the preserved salty Mui Choy added more flavor and crunchiness to the dish.

Pak Cham Kai-poached free range chicken-meat was way TOO tough must be an old aged chicken.

Brinjal stir fried with minced meat-nicely julienne but a bit on the salty side.

Watermelon and Jelly-complimentary.

Total bill:Rm330/
Location:9 (10 shoplots), Jalan BPP 8/2,
Bandar Putra Permai,
Seri Kembangan,

That 360 degree pix is cute :-D

That deep fried talapia looks good. But, most of the dishes were salted? Well, I couldn't tolerate saltiness. So, I will think twice for a meal in this place. But overall I think RM330 is a good price for both food and nice ambience.

Yes Hai Thian food is very good. Used to eat at Seri Kembangan often last time. Most Serdang/Seri Kembangan people will have wedding/birthdays at either Hai Thian or Hee Lai Ton in the old days
