Kedai Makanan Tai Heng.

Saturday lunch with my buddies we went to Kedai Makanan Tai Heng located in Taman Maluri, Cheras,

This area is notorious for it's double parking and finding a parking lot is a real hassle!

Their
tagline "Exquisite Chinese cuisine in one roof" as advertised on a giant billboard near the Cheras Badminton Stadium is eye catching.

The place is clean with a huge poster of their signature dishes on one side of the wall.

We ordered their signature roast goose which was quite pricey.

Clean and fuss free place.

Accompaniment for the food.

Dried vegetable soup-complimentary.

Roast Goose 1/4-very generously sized-meaty, moist with distinct flavor-would have taste better if the goose was fresh- Rm40/

Smokey Brisket-3 layer pork belly-crispy crust but with more fats than lean meat-Rm12/

Bean Curd with confit of shallots and garnished with spring onion and coriander-the cold, white Bean curd was silky smooth-Rm5/

Sauteed Yau Mak (lettuce)-quite oily-Rm8/

Total bill:Rm72/
Location: 34, Jalan Jejaka 9,
Taman Maluri, Cheras,
Kuala Lumpur.
Tel:03-9284-7177.
