Sweet Potato Balls.

The Pasar Malam stalls at Cameron Highlands have the best fried sweet potato balls.

The ones at Fong Lye Taiwanese Restaurant @ The Gardens are pale in comparison.

And my home made sweet potato ball has a natural sweetness and flavor to it.

The best thing about it? It is so easy to make.

 Ingredients:
500gm Red colored Sweet Potato (peel, cut, steam and mash)
2 tbs sugar.
40gm-all purpose flour (shift)
50gm-tapioca flour.

Mix mashed potato with the flour, sugar and some water.
Shape kneaded dough into marble shaped balls (for easy eating)
Coat with tapioca flour.
Deep fried it on low heat till golden brown.
Colander it and it is ready to be serve.

Sweet potato balls-golden brown-crispy on the outside and soft inside - full of natural sweetness and flavor of sweet potato.
