Michelin starred Tim Ho Wan is just a hole in the wall eatery in Hong Kong.
Now in Malaysia with two branches - the first restaurant's opening in Mid Valley
was full of hype, long queue everyday for months.
Tim Ho Wan @One Utama is much quieter.
Their menu is rather limited maybe for it's exclusiveness.
The dim sum are fresh, premium ingredients, refined but nothing extraordinary.
I found their marquee baked bun with BBQ pork rather sweet, steamed egg cake
-caramelized taste, pillowy soft and melt in the mouth, pan fried turnip cake was
full of turnip with every bite, steamed har gow dumpling was fresh and succulent
and the rest did not disappoint.
