Last week we had our lunch at this house cum restaurant in Kampung Subang.
The restaurant is family run and owned and is a very popular place for lunch and dinner.
According to the owner's daughter, their signature dishes are buttered crabs, tilapia fish, curry fishhead, venison, claypot lor si fun...etc
They are also famous for their takeaway curry pao (not curry puff!) which will only be available at the new restaurant.
Clay pot Lor Si Fun-was filled with fragrant minced pork and whisked egg white-not oily with no added soy sauce-smooth noodle-add a teaspoon of black vinegar to add more flavor to it- Rm12/
Clay pot curry fish head (1/2 of a Garoper fish head)-eaten on the side with rice vermicelli and red, creamy spicy and tongue numbing curry with the usual greens like ladyfingers, brinjal, long bean, Chinese round cabbage and Tofu puffs-Rm35/
Total bill-Rm66/
