Fave Home-cooked Dishes 2.

These are some of my favorite home-cooked dishes cooked by my wife.


Soy sauce pork with hard boiled eggs.

Curry puffs

Stewed chicken.

Stir fried Paku choy with Tuna flakes.

Yam cake.

Fish paste Egg rolls.

Deep fried Soon Hong fish (Senangin).

Minced pork/mushroom noodle.

Braised crab meat with egg white gravy.

Stir fried Cameron Highlands Petai with minced pork/prawn.

Vegetables curry with sea prawns.

Steamed flower crabs.

Braised Bittergourd with chicken meat.

Braised Chicken claws with pork.

Deep fried Mackerel stuffed with fish paste.

Egg Omelette with onion and shrimp.

Sambal prawns.

Fish paste stuffed Brinjal.

Grilled Stingray with curry powder.

Oven cooked Chicken thigh meat rolled with bacon.

Bought petai from the orang asli in Cameron before. The taste really different from those we get in KL.

you are very lucky, my wife is close to zero as far as cooking is concerned. She said it only for the time being. Pls don't let her know if there's any possibility.

For the Yam cake:
• 1½ bowls diced yam cubes.
• 1 bowl rice flour
. 2 bowls water
• ½ bowl dried shrimps
• 5 shallots, finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon 5 spice powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon white pepper

For the topping:
• deep fried shallots
• chopped spring onions
• sliced red chillies
• coarsley ground toasted peanuts.
