Durians with names like D24, D101, Ang Hei and Tekar.......etc are sold at only Rm7/kg.
Today, we went there and I bought two Durian Tekar for Rm28/
What a great bargain!
Just cannot resist the "King of all fruits"-it is either you like or despise it.
The stall open from 3.30 p.m onwards.
Yours truly taking on the durian-Place the big kitchen knife at the center of the durian's tail-then make an incision along one of the 5 clear spacing lines and force it apart.

I saw it featured on the Travel channel.. Once on Andrew Zimmerman's Bizarre foods and then on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations"
Anthony loves it but Andrew hated it because he couldn't get passed the smell" I would like to try it one day and give my conclusions..

A steal! Yday had a Tekar for RM19.
But very creamy, though not as vibrant in colour as yours.
