In Malaysia, satay is a popular dish among the various races. It is available anytime of the day in every nook and corner of the country. An A-list must, during the Hari Raya open houses. Satay is make from meat of chicken, beef, fish, pork, rabbit, intestines......etc. The sliced marinated meat is then skewered and grilled over a charcoal fire. A stalk of lemon grass is used to sprinkle oil over it to aid in the grilling process. A bowl of chillies peanut sauce is a must. Dip the satay into the sauce and eat, it's delicious! The side dishes consists of sliced green cucumber. big onions and ketupat (rice cake). Washed it all down with a glass of iced cool sugar cane juice. Best!
