GRILLED BACON, CURRY PUFFS & A CUP OF MILK TEA FROM THE TEA KING.

Today I went to Chinatown in Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur for a walkabout.

I bought some freshly grilled Bacon slices as gift for a friend from a stall named Loong Kee. It is situated at the corner of Jalan Hang Lekir and Jalan Sultan. The grilled Bacon slices was well marinated, sweet and very addictive with each bite. No wonder their tag line is "Try it, you'll love it"

As it was around Tea time I bought 3 Curry puffs from a stall named Old Lim Curry Puff, beside a Food court to go with a cup of Milk Tea.

Curry puff-is a popular savory puff , with a unique twirl top and shape-with fillings like Curry Chicken, cubed Potatoes and hard boiled Egg-usually deep fried-the crust was flaky but the fillings was salty-Rm1.30/piece.

This stall owner aka Tea King preparing a cup of Milk Tea for me.

Milk Tea-was made using Tea dust-with added evaporated milk-came piping hot and was smooth and flavorful- Rm2/cup.

Location: Stall No:363,
Jalan Hang Lekir,
Kuala Lumpur.

Wow, the curry puff is so full with the ingredients! In my area they are not as full looking or as freshly made with so many different ingredients. I've never had potatoes or a boiled egg in a curry puff before.

The milk tea looks really good! I would like to have some right now. It is cold in CA right now.

Thats my favourite curry puff stall. I can have curry puff for teatime everyday. There's a stall in Amcorp Mall thats run by a Malay lady during the weekends. Her curry puffs are also tasty and has egg in it. Worth trying.
