Now in Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya, they have Pantai Seafood Restaurant and Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant as neighbors and competitors.
This place is more spacious-warehouse-like, with a sectioned area for air conditioned dining.
We opted to dine in the open area as the weather was fine and breezy.
Sharon the young, attentive and knowledgeable waitress recommended their signature dishes to us.
Parking is ample.
Lala (Clams) in superior soup with Bird's eye Chillies to perk up the flavors a few notch higher!-Rm15/
Stir fried Paku Choy (wild Fern) with cloves of Garlic and Tuna-tender and crunchy with the flaky Tuna and red Chillies lending a great flavor to the dish-Rm15/.
Steamed Pak Soh Koong (white whisker farmed Catfish) about 850 gm-garnished with finely sliced young Ginger, sprigs of Coriander leaves, deep fried Garlic and bathed in good grade Soy sauce-fresh, smooth and no fishy smell-Rm27/.
Salt baked meat Crabs (1 1/2 kg)-was surprised to see red and green Bird's eye chillies and smashed old Ginger baked with the crabs-fresh, sweet and succulent-Rm59/.
