RESTORAN MEL'S CORNER-WAN TON MEE.

Restoran Mel's Corner is located near my house in Section 17, Petaling Jaya and is one of seven Wan ton mee stall (in Section 17 alone) that i like to patronize besides the ignorant lady stall at Restoran Wah Cheong (like the Sui Kow) and the fat guy at Restoran Lucky (like the braised Mushroom/Chicken feet).

Mel's Corner served one of best Wanton Mee with Char Siew because his mentor is "The Char Siew King."

Wantan mee -the strand of egg flour noodle was firm but a bit soggy-tossed with light and dark Soya sauce, Oyster sauce, Sesame oil, Lard oil and served with blanched Choy Sam and BBQ 3 layer pork which was sweet, tender and well caramelized-plus 3 wan ton dumplings-eat it with vinegared pickled green Chillies in Soy sauce for more zing!-Rm4.50/.

Location: 947, Jalan 17/38
Section 17, Petaling Jaya,

I have never seen wonton mein tossed with various sauces before they serve it to you. Usually in my area they just leave the sauces up to the customer.
