RESTAURANT KEONG KEE.

Saturday lunch with my buddies, we went to Restaurant Keong Kee in Taman Putra, Cheras after we attended to a client in the Taman Muda area.

Restaurant Keong Kee is a famous established eatery, with lots of regular and family diners.

The ground floor interior is a small but exudes a relaxing and inviting ambiance, with alfresco dining on the five foot walkway of the restaurant's front.
The place is hygienic and clean with floor to ceiling tiling with an air conditioned dining area tucked away upstairs.

Parking is terrible.

Assorted roasted meat in a glass paneled enclosure.

Pork ribs in Orange juice sauce-was lightly battered-deep fried and smothered with Orange juice sauce on a bed of fresh lettuce and slices of cucumber on the side-the ribs were meaty and flavorful.

Square deep fried Toufu-silky soft inside, with toppings of Japanese Crab sticks and sliced smooth Angled Loofah in superior stock gravy-sinfully good.

Steamed Red Tilapia fish- their signature dish-in lovely sweet bean paste/chillies/garlic/ginger flavorsome sauce-a delight to the palate and was done just right- fresh, sweet, delicate and meaty.

Stir fried Choy Sam with cloves of garlic-was sweet, plump and crunchy.

Nourishing White Radish soup was complimentary.

Total bill:Rm70/,
Location:1, Jalan Bunga Tanjung 9C,
(opp Petronas)
Taman Putra, Cheras,
Tel:03-4291-3408.
