Tonight dinner is YONG LIU (Assorted Greens stuffed with Home made Fish paste). A shortage of fish caused by the controversial fish container ruling has caused the prices of fish to increase. The two Tenggiri fish to make this dish cost Rm45/
This plate have Lady finger (Okra) with fish paste-all the dishes are complemented with a spread of sauce mixed from light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, a dash of pepper and XO Oyster sauce-a hearty platters.
Wok fried Fish paste patties filled with chopped carrots, mashed Tou fu (white bean curd), and bits of mushroom-easy to eat and just melt in the mouth.
