NASI LEMAK FRIENDS' PLACE IN BAKTI TTDI
While walking back to our parked car, after our morning walk at the Taman Rimba, Bukit Kiara in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, we saw a man steaming "something" in a wooden bucket on a gas stove. A fragrant aroma waft the air as we approached nearer, eh! it was a Nasi Lemak stall. There were about 5 stalls and only Friend's Place stall was opened. The stall owner told us that they started the business just a week ago and is open on Sunday morning only while on weekdays it is from 3.30 pm onwards. Friends' Place is located in a Bakti owned place just behind the TTDI's mosque.
The view of the car park
A simple but clean stall.
The stall owner scooping the piping hot white fragrant rice from the wooden bucket.
The side dishes available are fried chicken parts, fried eggs, curry cuttlefish...etc.
Ta Pau (packaged) 2 packets @rm4.80-with the usual accompaniments-the rice was fragrant and whole grained but not well coconut milk flavored, the chicken drumstick was tender and turmeric flavored while the cuttlefish was soft with a chewable texture and the Sambal fiery hot!
Location:Bakti TTDI, Jalan Datuk Sulaiman. TTDI.

wow, steaming hot nasi lemak...make me feel so hungry now....price is quite reasonable also ya!
This is a nice place to go for a morning walk! I simply love this place and then yum cha in any of the nice eateries nearby. You found yours obviously!
I am so very jealous of the cuisine you get to enjoy. Where I live the food is so boring. That's why I started cooking. If I lived where you do, I don't think I'd ever cook.
