CHICKEN RICE-KAR KAR LOY

This shop is nameless except for a signboard in Chinese characters-Kar Kar Loy (meaning Welcome Everyone) stating that it is an eatery. It is located along Jalan Peel in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur just opposite the more affluent Queen Park Center and next to a SHELL station. Their signature dishes are roast chicken, char siew (roast pork), braised pig trotter and braised chicken feet. Be there early or you will missed out on the delicious chicken feet! The photos are not so clear as it was snapped with a mobile phone's camera. Overall it was a good lunchtime meal.

Char siew-three layer pork belly-well marinated, charcoal fire roasted and caramelized with honey.

Braised chicken feet-was soft and smooth-just melt in your mouth-delicious.

Braised pig trotter-was cooked together with the chicken feet-meat was tough but the thick and fatty gravy goes well the white rice.

Blanched bean sprout-was fat, fresh and crunchy with sweet light soy sauce.

Roast chicken-1/4 thigh portion-charcoal fire roasted-tender meat and crispy skin-all times favorite!

Tan , good to see you here ! Chicken rice my favourite and so are the trotters. simply fatty and yummy
