BLUE FIN TUNA

The Blue Fin Tuna (Thunnus Thynnus) is the largest Tuna. It is dark blue and almost black in color above and light silver below. There is a yellow line from the snout along half of the body which disappears after death. Did you know that the Blue Fin Tuna is a warm blooded fish?.

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS STORY ?
A Hong Kong Sushi bar owner and a Japanese paid about US$100,000/ for a 282 lbs premium Blue Fin tuna fish at a Tokyo fish auction on Monday-5th of January 2009. That works out be US$350/lb. Wow! no wonder, Blue Fin Tuna Sashimi, pricing is so premium!
