Crabs ! Crabs ! Crabs !

Crabs are crustaceans that feed on algae and animal matter and are mostly found in freshwater, ocean, on land or farmed.

Why is it that not everyone like to eat crabs ?

Some maybe due to health reasons, put off with the hassle of getting their hands dirty..........etc.

My whole family are crabs lovers-cooked any style.

Eating crabs is an art-eat it with a slow and tender loving care- skills (harnessed from experience) are needed to pick and dig up each and every piece of the fine and succulent flesh-breaking the fragile shell segment by segment.

Have anyone of you seen people eating crabs with a pair of chopsticks?

Never eat crabs during the 1st and 15th Lunar day of each month.

Now, which types of cooked crabs, turn you ON................... ?

Charcoal fire grilled crabs ?.
Clay pot butter crabs ?.
Black pepper crabs ?.
Salted duck egg yolk crabs ?
Fresh flower crab for steamboat ?
Deep fried soft shell crabs-eaten whole including the shell ?
Steamed Australia snow crab ?
Stuffed crab ?.

GARDEN PALACE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT SDN BHD.

This is the second time we are having dinner at Garden Palace Seafood Restaurant Sdn Bhd, we tried them out during Chinese New Year's Eve-verdict- GOOD. The old man Captain was a familiar face-found out that he was from Restoran King Crab in Taman Megah and the Chef cum owner was from Restoran Rasa Sayang in Damasara Jaya-a creative and accomplished chef. I was surprised with the excellent effort put into every dish that they served. The presentation was visually pleasing, taste excellent and the fresh ingredients used are what i would had only expected from 5 star restaurant. We were recommended the sharks fin soup on offer for only rm9.80/bowl, crabs at rm25/kg and their signature dishes. The restaurant is fully air conditioned and parking is ample except on Thursday because of the pasar malam.

Sharks fin soup-served on a mini casserole with a wax flame under it to keep warm-the superior broth was filled with sharks fin, crab meat and red crab's roe-satisfying with a delicate flavor-rm9.80/bowl

Pan fried BBQ pork ribs (3 pieces cut into halves) tossed with secret sauce, ginger juice and Hua Diao wine-sinfully good and yummy-rm24/

Stir fried Bok Choy-young, tender and dainty sized green-rm18/.

Tou fu made in house with fillings of minced pork and water chestnut- smothered with Shimeji mushroom and superior gravy-rm18/.

Sweet and sour crabs- the thick egg gravies was good, mopped it up with fluffy Mantou-rm25/

Total bill:rm140/.
