Peng Heong "Hakka Paikut" Restaurant@Klang

Peng Heong "Hakka Paikut" Restaurant is an old establishment
with a 40 years history which started from a makeshift stall.

Located a stone throwaway from The Masjid  Bandar Di-Raja
Klang Utama.

We had our lunch on this busy Monday afternoon.

Our main orders were two pieces of well marinated and tender
deep fried Hakka Pork Chop, four pieces of deep fried Hakka
minced pork balls with tasty and flavorful fillings (Lion's head) and
a plate of blanched Romaince lettuce.

A comfort meal with two plates of rice for the three of us.

Tim Ho Wan @ OneUtamaShoppingCentre.

Michelin starred Tim Ho Wan is just a hole in the wall eatery in Hong Kong.

Now in Malaysia with two branches - the first restaurant's opening in Mid Valley
was full of hype, long queue everyday for months.

Tim Ho Wan @One Utama is much quieter.
Their menu is rather limited maybe for it's exclusiveness.

The dim sum are fresh, premium ingredients, refined but nothing extraordinary.

I found their marquee baked bun with BBQ pork rather sweet, steamed egg cake
-caramelized taste, pillowy soft and melt in the mouth, pan fried turnip cake was
full of turnip with every bite, steamed har gow dumpling was fresh and succulent
and the rest did not disappoint.

Restoran Eden Dim Sum City.

Weekends morning are for exercising (brisk walking) in the park then breakfast.

The best breakfast will be dim sum - no rush, just relax,
find a nice dim sum place - sit and order a hot pot of Pu'er tea.

Restoran Eden Dim Sum City  located in Bandar Sri Menjalara fits the bill.

Servers come with bamboo baskets filled with a good varieties of piping hot
dim sum to tease your taste bud and eyes.

Made fresh, in house on a daily basis - quite refined and comparable with
with others dim sum places.

Prices are pretty affordable.

Frame Thai @ Section 17.

One of the earliest Thai mini grocery shop in Petaling Jaya with
an upfront noodle stall with a  few tables to an almost full-fledged
eating place with minimize furnishings.

Catering to it's mostly Thai working community from the surrounding
areas and some locals with their Thai street food delights.

Very close to authentic Thai street food but expensive -Rm5 for a drink ?

We had  Pad Thai -rather sweet and orange in colour.

              Thai pork flat rice noodle

Skewered well marinated but sweet moo ping (Pork belly) and sausage.

Taipei Taipei @Damansara Kim.

A meal that is comforting and affordable.

Long  forgotten but reignited after going through my thumbdrive.

The three of us just could not finished our respective portion because
two of us were small eaters.

The restaurant is air conditioned and Kompassion is just next door.

We had Dan Dan Noodle with marinated pork chop set,
Taiwan style marinated pork chop rice set and Soy stewed pork  belly
with  braised egg set which would taste better with more lard oil gravy.
