KAM KEE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

We have not been to this restaurant for quite some time. It is a quaint little place, one storey and located in Taman Petaling, Petaling Jaya. Opposite the restaurant is the site where they used to have the bird's singing competition. They have the usual red cloth for it's tables and even some pictures of a popular Taiwanese composer patronizing the place. The air conditioned room was packed, luckily we'd made a reservation. The waiter recommended their signature dishes:

Salted fish with pork belly: portion too small

Four types of beans : sambal was too salty

Steamed sliced snakehead fish with black beans:meat texture was too soft

Stir fried choy sam : leafy and crunchy

Steamed beancurd with fish paste:the gravy was good and the bean curd smooth.

Marmite pork ribs:was overdone until you cannot tell the difference between meat and bones.
