Tai poh mee.

This Tai Poh Mee stall used to be my "must have" breakfast place on my way to work in Cheras ten years ago.

Yesterday's morning, my wife and I revisited the stall to savor those delicious homemade noodles.

There is a parking lot at the back of the stall.
At night the side lane comes alive with lots of hawkers peddling many types of delicious food.

The walk from the car park reeked of rat's urine but no one cares, this Tai Poh Mee stall was doing brisk business.

It's only 7.30 am and some have to wait to be seated.

Loh Si Fun (Rice flour noodle)-the "limited"homemade short fat rice flour noodle was not as smooth as others but was full of rice flavor-drizzled with lard oil and topped with blanched Choy Sam, flavorful minced lean pork/fats, slivers of Char Siew and a bowl of wanton soup-Rm4.40..

My wife'choice - Kon Lor Wanton Mee -the springy Wheatflour noodle was drizzled with some pork lard oil and topped with a few leaves of blanched Choy Sam, chopped spring onion, favorful minced lean pork/fats, slivers of Char Siew (BBQ pork) and served on the side with a bowl of 4 pieces of Sole fish flavored wanton soup-Rm4.00.

Green pickled Chillies with Soy sauce to eat with the noodles.

Location: Side lane of Jalan Pudu.
Beside Restoran Siak Kee.
