Lum mee aka "Birthday noodle" is a must in Peranakan
household during festive season.
This Lum mee stall located in O&S Restaurant is one of personal favorite.
Thick yellow noodle topped with slivers of chicken meat, prawn slices,
beansprout and garnished with chopped spring onion is then
doused in a light starchy egg gravy with add-on of five pieces of
crunchy and succulent prawn wanton.
A small cup of spicy numbing sambal for dip.
A plate of gooey and comforting goodness to begin the day.
